... that I've done today:

1. finishing the Big Carpet Battle - Mom and I finally got to clean up the balcony where half the furniture was stuffed while rug cleaning guy worked all over the flat;

2. writing another four pages in Chapter 5 to my alternate Voyager pilot - no, really, it isn't such a big deal when one is lying on her stomach and watching the original episode while writing;

3. working out some background facts for the series and making the most insane connections to DS9 and TNG - yes, I am insane, whats new;

4. getting all worked up (and then cooling down and sinking into good, honest-to-Middle-earth self pity) about the whole Mithril Award thingy;

5. reading some Voyager fanfiction on ff.net and getting depressed about the quality of it, save a few exceptions;

6. getting in touch with some Hungarian Voyager fan who translates fanfic for those who don't speak English;

7. nourishing some plotcritters considering Elrohir (yes, I'm still writing Tokienfic, in case anybody is wondering);

8. reading Vorondis' new installment to "Mortal Shores";

9. answering half a dozen e-mails that have been sitting in my inbox for days;

10. whining about the speed the holidays are going on - it is definitely a bad thing that good times go more quickly.

All in all, I have the impression of a well-spent day. Hmmm...

Actually, I've already slept more than six hours in-between. You know, time zones between us and all that... But yeah, it was a full day. And this one promises to be busy as well.

That's the unfortunate side effect of holidays. One tries to do all the things that had been set aside "for later" during the whole previous term.

True, then you need a holiday to recover from the holiday you just had :)

I envy you your productivity!

But, eh, what's with Elrohir??

Well, I have to do these things as long as I've got holidays, right?

As for Elrohir, it's just an idea for a short story, containing different farewell scenes before he boards his ship.
