Yeah, I've been very profilic.

I started work somewhat late today, at ten o'clock, but by then, I've written half of Chapter 7 to Torchwoodgate. The other half I wrote (and almost finished the part) at school, between lessons. Go me!

After work, Mum and I went to do the shopping for the weekend. Her bestest lady friend since 1965 comes to dinner tomorrow, so we needed to do some more serious shopping.

When we came home, she cooked her famous chicken soup (it's still on the hearth, in fact), and I fabricated a Käse-Streuselkuchen (which is still in the oven). Now we're waiting for our various dishes to get ready.

It's a real blessing that there wasn't anything interesting on the telly, or else we wouldn't have got done all this.

Go you, indeed - that's just amazing!

The dinner you're preparing sounds delicious. I hope you'll have a lovely day. :-)

Oh, I'm sure of it. The lady who's coming is absolutely delightful, and the cake, although it's the first time I made it, turned out great... even though one needs brute strength to break through the Streuselkruste. *g*

Congratulations on your impressive progress!
And I hope you and Mum have a delightful dinner with her friend. (Lucky woman, that friend, to be enjoying Mum's soup AND your fine dish!)

She deserves every bite of it. She's such a good friend to Mum, and a wonderful person beyond that. :)

Oh, we had. She's such a nice person! And she brought us *strawberries* - imagine that, the first ones in this season.

Now we'll have strawberries *and* asparagus tomorrow... almost too much luxury.

Thanks. The truth is - as strange as it sounds - that baking helps me relax. Even if I tire out during the process.

It's good to hear from you again! *hugs back*
