Small victories

Victory #1 - I've survived the week at work. It was hard. I mean, harder than usual, though perhaps not as hard as next week will be. But at least there's nothing foreseen for the weekend. And actual weekend for myself. Will wonders never cease to exist? *is happy*

Victory #2 - Years ago, my good friend julesaello sent me a German book about apples, because a quizzie revealed that I'm very much an apple addict. I read it back then and liked it, but never got to try any of the recepies - until today. Now a (hopefully) delicious apple-cinnamon-cheesecake is sitting in the oven, waiting to be finished. I'll tell you the results. ;)

Edit: The cake turned out fantastic! Anyone interested in the recipe?

Victory #3 - despite life's dogged attempts to hinder me in writing, I've managed to update Sparrows, one of my Cadfael stories. I still haven't dared to post "Brothers-in-Arms", because of Teh Ebol Slash it contains - I'm still considering how to edit the first chapter, so that FF.Net could bear it. lhun_dweller, when you come to the beta-ing, perhaps you'll have some suggestions? The unedited and unbetaed version is posted to hiddenrealms for a trial run, if anybody is interested.

Victory #4 - the biggest of all: mirasaui is back!!! 'Nuff said.

Yay for small victories! Although I'd say that surviving a truly horrible week is a pretty big victory. *hug* I wish you lots of strength for next week!

Hey, it wasn't meant to be pressure or whatnot! I know what work is... I just hope you'll have some suggestions how to make the first chapter eligible for FF.Net. The second one is completely tame... or will be, should I ever finish it.
