All right, first things: the update.

Part 11 – Lockdown has just been posted to otherworlds_lib. I'll try to put up Part 12 tomorrow. It's already written and typed in, but there's only so much hand-codign I can do on a single day.

Anyway, as background research, I've been re-watching Season 5 episodes (recorded from German TV, as I don't own the last season on DVD yet), and I've realized something: I like it a lot more than I liked Season 4. Despite the fact that Season 4 had Carter, whom I love to pieces, and that I don't care for Woolsey.

But Season 5 has Carson Beckett as a recurring character again (well, actually, his clone, but who cares?). And the episode plots appeal more to me than those of Season 4. So, apparently, I need to get to Vienna some time, soon - I might find Season 5 there. *is hopeful*

Other than that, work is still eating me alive. Well, not the working part of it, but all the other things that barely leave us time to actually, well, work. Like the upcoming charity ball on frigging Saturday evening. I understand that we need to raise money and keep the parents interested, but this is one event of the year that I hate from the bottom of my heart.

Hand-coding is a bitch... did you take a look at semagic yet? It's a little program for posting LJ entries, works like a word processor and is easy to use. http://semagic.livejournal.com/

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll take a look indeed - hand-coding is killing my eyes. I hope I won't crash LJ or whatnot, considering what a techno-wheenie I am. *bites nails*

BTW, have you seen that RTL2 is going to show "Stargate: Universe" next? In two weeks' time it'll start in the best time slot. As much as I love Stargate and am grateful that RTL2 at least regularly shows soma sci-fi, I'm highly doubtful about the new show.

Will give it the benefit of the doubt, though. Even if it's crap, at least it's something new.

If you need help with Semagic, feel free to ask me. I can't use it now that I'm posting on Dreamwidth (*sniffle* back to hand-coding for me) but I still have it installed.

Yeah, I saw about S:U in the Tv magazine. I was going to give it a chance as well, out of sheer curiosity just how close it is to the soap opera-ish character bios they published a while ago, but with the video recorder I brought most likely being broken, I won't be able to do so for a while now. I only get home around 9 p.m. most evenings currently. Once I get recording to work, I'll watch a few episodes, though.

And in the meantime, keep me up-to-date, alright? *smile*
