Not dead yet - just tired

Bus and tram drivers have been on strike since Monday; consequently, getting to work in itself has been a pain. Walked to work on Tuesday, and afterwards back home - my bad knee didn't like it at all. An end is still not in sight. *curses*

Got nice prezzie from jilba, though. Neat music; and Mum liked the sweets very much. Thanks, Jillian, I hope you got your present as well. :))

After 4 months, I've finally picked up the Wishverse series again. New installment is posted to otherworlds_lib.

It seems, I've missed the one or other birthday lately, altariel's among them. I'm really sorry. Will try to be less negligent next time. *sighs*

Oh mann, das mit dem Streik hört sich ja wirklich nervenaufreibend an. Ich drück Dir die Daumen, daß Deine Knie durchhalten und es bald vorüber ist!

Glücklicherweise brauchte ich nur zweimal während der Hauptverkehrszeit zur Arbeit zu gehen, und in diesen Fällen hat mich eine Kollegin die Auto fährt mitgenommen. Aber es ist halt schwierig. Nur 40 Buslinien fahren in der ganzen Stadt, und as ist eine echte Herausforderung, sich wenigstens in den zweiten Bus reinzupressen, so daß man nur zweimal und nicht dreimal so lange braucht...

Aber wenigstens habe ich mehr Gwen-Bash geschrieben, hehehe! Sauer zu sein scheint zu helfen dabei...

BTW, Yesterday I got the Christmas card I send to you and your mum back with a note attached saying `unknown at this addres'. It was the same addres I used for the DVDs, only I'd inadvertently put your first name first, instead of second. Apparently, that upsets the whole system. But in any case you know now that I *did* send you a card...

It's probably just the new postman being an idiot. The old one retired last month - he could read names, even if the first name was first. As my late grandfather used to say, never comes anything better.

Tyr absolutely rocks. And Keith Hamilton Cobb played him excellently.

Did you know that he actually wrote Niet fanfic? Well, sort of. There was a series of short pieces on his website titled "The Ancestor's Breath", supposedly Tyr's thoughts. He's deleted or moved his website in the meantime, and I'm so very glad I've saved his writings - they are excellent. They show that he's actually sit down and thought a lot about what a Nietzschean is and what might make his character tick.

Slim Dusty is an Aussie icon. Many many years ago, my deceased father in law road ganged with Slim repairing potholes in roads. Then Slim became famous. He once owned a half-brother to one of my horses too!
