Mum and me decided to do a traditional Christmas tree this year - the kind with blown glass ornaments and stuff, as it was in her childhood - and mine, too.
This is the result:

Personally, I prefer the style from last year - it's more natural, more balanced and, IMO, more pretty. But Mum was feeling nostalgic, and I wanted to do her the favour.

Date: 2009-12-26 08:41 am (UTC)The beaded garlands are all hand-made, actually. The beads are rolled soft paper (like a piece of paper napkin) covered with tin foil chocolate wrappings and the likes. I made them all while watching TV, years ago. :)
