Had a great afternoon with [livejournal.com profile] espresso_addict and Mr. EA, although it might take time till their poor, tortured ears recover from being exposed to my English. *g*

We got to the big Christmas market and had coffee together, of course, and generally a lot of fun. I really needed this after the current horrible workplace situation.

Tomorrow, there'll be culture time: we'll hit the museums and see some sights. Yay!

Yay! I'm so glad you were able to meet up, and that it's given you a lift. The stuff at work sounds rotten, I'm sorry; you deserved something good today.

Very true. Workplace mobbing is never pleasant - I wish I could care less, but it isn't easily done.

Still, having such lovely people in town and spending time with them made me forget the whole thing for a while, and for that, I'm grateful.

Glad you had fun together (though how could you not?).

Me, too. I had a wonderful time.

Thanks for the proofreading, by the way. :)

A Christmas market? That does sound like fun! I'm glad the two of you had such a good time.

Yes, Christmas market was fun. The even funnier thing is that I never managed to get there in the earlier years. You really need to have guests to see the nice parts of your own home. :)

Isn't that the truth! I think pretty much every interesting sight I've seen here in Omaha, I saw while showing guests around. Funny how we travel all over the world to see interesting things, while ignoring the wonderful sights in our own backyards!

I don't think it's really ignorance. It's rather the sort of thinking like "well, it's on my doorstep, I can get there any time I want, while at other things I might never get another chance..."

One of the reasons why I love having guests is to get to all the great places at home.

Thanks. I still haven't given up hope to have you and the Beloved over here one day. Perhaps one of us will win the jackpot or something, and then we'll have so much fun!
