Baking with the Doctor, Part 2

Still not with the Time Lord, obviously. ;)

After having made such good experiences with the Dr. Oetker (Germans will know) muffin dough mix, I tried out the brownies today. Mum's ecstatic, and even I have to admit that they're quite good. (Usually, I'm unhappy with my baking results and always find fault - this time, I can't.)

So it's been decided that we're going to buy another box of this dough mix. Just to have one in the reserves, all the time. Even though the next experiment will be chocolate muffins filled with vanilla pudding. We haven't had that one yet.

Sounds delicious! Chocolate muffins filled with vanilla pudding might be a bit too rich, though. Be sure to give us a report. ;-)

Chocolate is the right medicine for a number of things.

Speaking of which, I've sent your pre-Christmas prezzie on its way this week. I'm crossing all available appendages that the things get to you and to ithilwen relatively undamaged. I wrote on the envelope in large black letters what it contains, but they can open and re-seal it if they don't believe me, it's that sort of envelope, so let's hope for the best.
