wiseheartCentral heating has finally been repaired - and not a moment too soon. We've experienced a 15-degree temperature drop compared with last week - and I mean it in Celsius, I can't even begin to guess what that would mean in Fahrenheit! - and were freezing our backsides off. Yay for advanced technology!

kavtolanon comm. I loved it as long as it was dedicated to a much-abused character, but since it has been turned into a support comm for the actor and his other roles, I'm just no longer interested. I like Ben Cotton, but I don't like him that much that I'd want to waste my time with reading posts about his other roles I'd never see anyway. Besides, the comm didn't fulfil one percent of my hopes for similarly-minded readers and discussion partners, so it's not so as if I'd give up anything of importance.
I'm considering doing the same with thewelovezelenka comm. It still serves its original purpose, but it's been every bit the disappointment the Kav comm has, so what's the point in remaining there?
Went with Mum to the doctor again, to get the results of her latest blood test. They're very good, thank God! She's gaining her strength back with amazing speed. Who knows, perhaps I'll get my bed back before Christmas, eh?
Autumn break is only a week from now. Nine days without school, without kids, without colleagues... HEAVEN! I'm seriously tempted not to leave the bed for those nine days, but, of course, it will be insanely hectic again: nine days in which I'll try to catch up with everything I hadn't managed to do in the last two and a half months. Still, NO SCHOOL!!! Isn't that just fantastic?
