Mum needs Good Thoughts(TM)

My mother has been diagnosed with icterus. I had to leave her in the hospital - she's frightened out of her mind, the poor thing, and so am I, to be perfectly honest. This morning, in five hour's time, we were supposed to go for a one-day-trip to Vienna, to give the summer a worthy ending.

Well, this was not what we had in mind, I tell you.

This is the second time in my entire life that I'm alone in the flat for the night. It's... eerie, somehow. It doesn't feel right. I can only imagine how my poor Mum feels in her hospital bed. :(

Good thoughts and the odd prayer would be appreciated very much.

Thank you. The weird thing is, she doesn't feel ill at all - it's just that we noticed how yellow her skin and the white of her eye has become and got worried. Otherwise, she wouldn't even have gone to the doctor.

The examinations woun't be pleasant indeed, especially the one where they'll push some sort of tube down her throat to see what's wron with her liver or whatnot. Thanks for the prayers, I'm really scared.
