Sorry for the vanishing act. I know, I've promised picspam and a journey report and stuff, but...

There was so much to catch up with after eight days of absence, plus I got bitten by a plotbunny about a Torchwood/Special Unit 2 crossover, which just had to be written (two parts are already up at [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib), and I find that time is just not enough for half the things I plan in for a day...

Less than three weeks left from the summer holidays, and I'd have things to do for ten times of that... *sighs* There's never enough time.

Will try to catch up with LJ, soon, honest. If I survive the wedding of the daughter of Mum's lady friend tomorrow, by 35 degrees Celsius or so. I don't even know the bride, but Mum insists, and sometimes it's just easier to give in, you know...

Breathe, breathe *smiles* Take your time with the picspam and everything. It's your holiday and you only have summer holidays once a year, so enjoy them! Don't pressure yourself, you get enough of that the rest of the year.

That Special Unit2/Torchwood story sounds really interesting, bookmarked it already for later consumption :D

Thanks, my dear. The good times always seem to just fly away, don't they?

I can't wait till you read the new, evil story. I hope you'll like it.

BTW, do you know whether SU2 has been released on DVD in Germany? I have the feeling that I might have to hunt for it when I next go to Vienna. At least it's only 2 seasons... financially, that's a relief.

I couldn't find it either at Amazon.de nor Ebay, so I don't think so.

Well, that sucks. Thanks for trying, anyway.

I guess there is often more one wants to do than there is time to do it.

I think you will be able to make it through the heat with a lot of water. And it is true, sometimes it is easier to give in.

Thanks, Dís. We've survived, but it wasn't pleasant. There had air conditioning in the wedding hall, but getting to the other site of the city in this ungodly heat was not my idea of fun.

I agree, going places in ungodly heat is not pleasant at all. It is a relief to know you didn´t have to be uncomfortable during the ceremony.

Yeah, but before and after, it was really bad. And yesterday was even worse. Poor Mum, she suffers from the heat a lot... and so do I, but at least I'm younger.

The picspam can wait until the Real Life stuff calms down a bit.

Where has the summer gone? It feels like it just arrived, and it's already 2/3ds over!

It is, isn't it? And Real Life stuff never calms down, never! it's deeply unfair.
