My hotmail addie leaves no doubts about the fact that I'm a woman. It's not my real name, of course, but still an eminently female one. I still get this stupid spam messages meant for men only... well, most likely.

Today, they offered me the chance to "permanently enlarge my manhood" - which, biologically, would be every bit as huge an achievement as Mpreg. The only difference is, I like Mpreg.

As a lady friend of mine once said: "I was hoping to grow one until I turned three. After that, I gave up on it."

So, dear spambots, try to differenciate between genders. Oh, and I'm not interested in Viagra, either!

OMG! HAHAHA - now that would be an achievement. :DDD

Perhaps it explains my attraction to Mpreg? *g*
I write that stuff, too. Well, wrote twice, so far, and with aliens it doesn't count, right?

Not chestbursters? O_O
A kind of different and invariably fatal form of MPREG

Not those aliens. The ones like the Tenctons, where the woman conceives, and then, after three months or so, the pod is transferred to the male. I write Benzites that way. Actually, Tenctons canonically have three genders.

I don't know what they are? :( What fandom is that from?

Alien Nation. It only lasted one season, plus five TV-movies, IIRC. I loved it.

The pattern was, that the third gender, the Binnaum (a very small percentage of the population) was needed to... erm... prepare the female for the conception. Meaning: she first slept with the Binnaum, then with her male partner, in order to get pregnant.

Binnaums were infertile, and since they were necessary for the survival of their race, they lived in convent-like communities. for their own protection.

I get really annoyed when they spam everyday, though?

Yeah, me too. Fortunately, UPC, where I have my personal e-mail addie, has a very good spam filter - I only ever get thid dreck through hotmail and g-mail.

It's funny, though, that they can't use a program that won't send Viagra and related spam to addies that obviously belong to women. What do you hope from it? That we'd buy their rubbish to get a gender swap or whatnot?

I wish I could get rid of them. -_- They've turned even eviler and send me these spams with my own email address.

Yep, I get those, too. I wonder how they do it, though. Fortunately, Hotmail is good at filtering them out if the filter is set to Exclusive. I only check Junk in case something important got put there by accident.

I need to check my junk mail more often but sometimes I just get so fed up with it I don't even want to do that. Probably a bad thing.

One of my addresses gets all Spam for Men ('make her love your magic wand!' and so on). My other address must be more gender-neutral, since it gets adverts for medicines, 'giant tomato trees', Snuggie: The Blanket With Sleeves, and making lots of money. Both addresses contain my forename, which is quite obviously feminine, like yours :)

Oh, yes, I get the magic wand thingie, too - which is why I can't read anything Harry Potter-related without giggling hysterically all the time.

Snuggie with the sleeves sounds like a winter coat, doesn't it? What sense does it make, sleeping in a winter coat?

But the giant tomato trees sound unfamiliar. They must be some interesting biological mutation, since last time I checked tomatoes didn't grow on trees.

Spam can be fun (although mostly involuntarily).

Your expecting any kind of intelligence from spambots is probably not realistic. *g* But I suppose we should be grateful for that. Sooner or later, they'll get better at targeting us and then where will we be?

>>As a lady friend of mine once said: "I was hoping to grow one until I turned three. After that, I gave up on it."<<

lol - well, the only times I ever felt like that was when I was stuck in a long queue on the highway: From other cars, men would emerge and water the grass, while I had to sit with my legs crossed and just... hold it in. :-(

Or if you're outdoors in winter. It'd be practical there, too. Hmmm...

Or long journeys by bus... Oh, man, I used to have my own pains during our French trip.
