Yeah, all good things, blah, blah... assuming you consider being sick a good thing. Anyway, I'm back to work, and as soon as I set foot in school again, it started snowing like crazy. Wonderful. I do like snow, but only when watching it from a warm chamber, through a well-isolated window, not when I have to stand in the middle of the school yard and watch the kids roll in it. It kinda gets cold and wet that way...

Mum's got another blood test - and it's the worst she had so far, despite having set down the meds. Tomorrow, I'll take her to a liver specialist and we'll see if that doc can say anything useful.

The ironic thing is, that she feels not a bit worse than anywhen else: she seems healthy, works like always, isn't tired or whatnot. If not for the dratted test, we wouldn't even know that someone is apparently wrong. Ah, well. I always said that the best way to health is to stay away from the doctors.

Yes, snow is definitely best when admired through a window from a warm room. lol

That's disturbing news about your mother. I'll keep my fingers crossed that the liver specialist finds nothing seriously wrong.

Thanks. She's very upset, poor thing - I can't blame her.

Ah, well. I always said that the best way to health is to stay away from the doctors.

One of my uncle's always says ' If I go to the doctor, he'll only tell me something I don't want to know. ' XD

True. THat's why I avoid them as much as possible. Unfortunately, that's not always an option.

Bundle up and stay warm: don't want you coming down with a bug so nasty you can't enjoy the sick leave... [evil grin]

I'm crossing my fingers for your mother. With the liver, it really is best to go to the doctors: one may not feel particularly ill, even as damage is taking place, until the condition is quite advanced. Sending her soothing thoughts, and a warm hug to you, too! Please do keep us posted.

Thanks, I will. See my reply to [livejournal.com profile] ithilwen's comment. I hope it's nothing serious. The lady doctor didn't seem overly concerned. We'll see.

I always said that the best way to health is to stay away from the doctors.

Sadly, there's some real truth to that!

At least your mother is feeling well, which is the most important thing. here's hoping the out-of-whack liver tests turn out to be nothing serious.

Well, this lady doctor is very nice and even seems to care for her patients. She sent Mum to another blood test, to check her for immunology problems; she says that might cause the high CGT results, and then to an abdominal CT. We'll see. At least it isn't hepatitis, the virus test turned out negative.

Hopefully things will turn out to be less alarming for your mother than it seems now!

Thank you. We really are a little worried over here, but I try to think positively.

And liver test results can be funny things. One time bad, another time good. Fingers crossed that things improve for Mum
