Home, sweet home!

wiseheartI succumbed to the inevitable yesterday and went to see my doctor. So now I'm on sick leave until Wednesday, when I'll have to go back and see if I can go to work again.
Despite being sick like a dog, I enjoy this unexpected break greatly. I hope I'll be able to catch up a little with my reading and writing, and generally rest some more than usual.
My little Silvan girl is coming tomorrow - she and Mum share the same birthday (she just turned 18, which is a big marker), and we'll have a dinner and hopefully much fun. I'm not worried to infect her, or, in fact, anyone - I never do. I just have to go through this crap once a year; it seems there are no exceptions anymore.
Perhaps I'm getting old, after all? ;)
