What is this changing frenzy?

Now FF.Net has gone and done it, too - again!!! Their new version is so confusing that I'm considering never to post to the dratted stie again - at least not until they go and do a few changes towards making things easier for people with simpler minds... like myself.

All I wanted to do was to take a look at the stats, and I could barely find my way around the new, "improved" site. Gah, I so hate it when they do that!

I wish I could manage my own website correctly, so that I could just put everything up there and wouldn't need FF.Net. It's complicated when one writes in so many fandoms as I do.

I've jsut visited the LJ design page - apparently, a lot of technically obsessed users just love the new profile page. Fine - it's their right. Why the heck can't you allow us, conservative older people to stick to the old design, though?

When I read this post, I went there immediately, and admittedly things are a bit harder to find. But if you click on everything, your stats will show up at some point, and I like some of the new features. It's nice to know where your visitors are coming from.

Well, I don't like them. None of the new thingies mean anything to me - aside from the fact, that everything is twice so difficult to find. And not even all the stats are on the same table - I preferred to see hits, favourites and reviews on the same as the words, chapters, etc.

Thanks. Maybe during summer break, when I might have time to figure out how it works - I've taken a look, and it seems frightfully complicated. Or it's just me, being an idiot.
