It happened again! (Google idiocy)

Remember this post?

The effect ceased on its own after a few days - now it's back again. I wish I knew what causes it. It's really annoying.

Survived flat redecoration. Will post more Stockholm pics and tell about work-related stuff later. Just too dead right now.

Edit: I tried erasing all Google-related cookies. It didn't help. Strangely enough, when I switch to Google.hu, it doesn't do the same thing, just in Google English. I tried to uncheck the "Provide query suggestions in searchbox" option, which did the trick, but it also erased the possibility to show me my old search keywords. So I'm fresh out of ideas what might cause the frigging thing.

Congrats on flat deco survival. Looking forward to work updates. Holiday weekend, so I won't make it to the post office until Tuesday, but The Package will fly!

Danke! Ich habe mich mit dem Schafskrimi "Glenkill" überrascht, als Belohnung. Es ist ein sehr lustiges Buch das ich demnächst ein bißchen besser vorstellen werde.

Oh ja, Glennkill hab ich auch hier liegen. Bin zwar noch nicht dazu gekommen, es anzufangen, aber ich freu mich schon sehr drauf. Allein schon die Beschreibung der einzelnen Schafe ist ja so lustig!

Ehrlich gesagt hat mich die Story - oder, besser gesagt, die Auflösung, soweit ich gekommen bin - ein bißchen enttäuscht... ich habe etwas Originelleres erwarted. Aber die Schafe sind zum Brüllen lustig... wenn sie nicht rührend sind. Ich werde das Buch behalten und eventuell spater nachlesen.

Regarding your Google problem: it's probably a browser setting?

I just know how to find it in Internet Explorer: if you go to tools (or your equivalent of it) in your browser, then to Internet Options, click the content tab, there should be something called Autocomplete Settings which I suspect is what you want. (Make sure Forms are selected.)

I'm afraid it's Google's doing; not only haven't I changed my browser settings, Ithilwen is experiencing the same thing, and she uses a different browser. I'll try to do what you've suggested, though.

By the way, I haven't been able to access the Otherworlds 1 and 2 sites you've built for me for quite some time. Any idea what might cause that? Has the provider died or set his server on fire or whatnot?

Weirdly enough, I'm not even able to log into the control panel for the website at the moment: do you happen to have the log in info for it and could you email it to me? (Just in case the info I have isn't up-to-date?)
