This and that

I've posted the first chapter of the new Kavanagh story to otherworlds_lib. I won't be able to post it to FF.Net, because it will be a series of rewritten episodes, and the local idiots would certainly report me for "plagiarism". I can't risk my account getting yanked for nothing.

Our old doctor visited us again. It was very nice, we had great fun. I recced two of my newly-acquired DVDs to him: "Nomad", directed by Milos Forman, with Mark Dacascos and Jason Scott Lee, and "La Guerre du Feu" directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud, featuring Ron Perlman and Rae Dawn Chong.

I'll write a review of the movies as soon as I've seen them.

Other than that, nothing of importance happened. When we've survived this month, work-wise, maybe I'll be able to post about more interesting things.

Good to hear that work is behaving - let's hope that continues for as long as you wish it to do so! And another visit from the old doctor? What fun!

We've finished the taxes, so once I get the rest of my software upgrades finished, I should be able to be online more regularly again.

Taxes are Teh Evil. I'm so glad to have Mum for that sort of slave labour and can lean back and wait for my refounds, due to the insurances.

We're having a particularly insane week at school right now - fortunately, even the brass are too busy to harrass us much, so that's okay, I guess.
