Hi folks, I'm back for 2 days, before I run off for Germany again. So, I thougt I'd try to post some picspam for you before I wanish from the map again. Behind the tag, you can see a few pictures of the small Czech town called Telc - it's part of the World Heritage, and I'd say with right. We've visited it on our way to Prague on April 29. The colourful houses are from the main square, originally they belonged to craftsmen, with workshops on the ground floor and living quarters on the second floor. The rest is from the local castle and its inner yard. Enjoy!

My colleague Lizzy next to a relief in the Castle garden. Beware the horse that's actually leaning out of the picture!

Below a few pics of aforementioned central square with the colourful houses

Two pics of the same corner house; one of them a bit blurred:

Three pics of Mum roaming the town. *g*

Lakeshore near the Castle (and no, that's not a lady mariner, that's a colleague)

Statue of a saint (don't ask which one) upon the stone bridge, near the Castle

And lastly, a wooden balcony on a stone tower. The tower itself was so high that I couldn't get it all on the picture with the balcony. Imagine it going up another third or so.

More pics will follow. I know they're not very good, I'm not a good photographer, I just tried to get everything I found pretty or interesting and hoped you'd like it, too.

Thank you, I did. It was very exhausting, of course, but I've seen unbelievingly beautiful things. I'll try to post as much as I can in these two days, so that you folks have something to look at while I'm away. :))

True. You just hold the camera in any direction and push the button randomly. Unless some idiot walks in front of your objective, you get a pretty picture. *g*

Well, I do know you - as much as I can know someone whom I hang out on the same LJ comm with. *g*

Have fun in Telc, it's a really, really pretty little town. It's a shame we didn't have the time for a guided tour in the castle - it might have been worth it.
