Either I've gone completely daft during the last few weeks or our respective cultures have grown completely apart, but the only entries I seem to actually understand are [livejournal.com profile] ithilwen's reports about Himring.

Now what does it tell about me? Aside fromt he fact that I don't have the faintest idea about English-speaking literature?

I'm guilty, I think. Several of my recent posts have been about the corrections I need to make to my PhD thesis. They contained random paragraphs and odd quotations that were supposed to be 'black humour' (anything to get me through!). Sorry if they were confusing.

It's not just you - or [livejournal.com profile] larian, for that matter. Lately, whenever I see an entry by someone from my friendslist, it seems to me as if they would be using a language I don't speak.

And then there are the ones who've vanished from the face of Earth... it's a loney cyberlife. :(

*laughs a little* My posts are confusing due to the same reasons as [livejournal.com profile] the_wild_iris, papers and research. Well, that is, when I make time to post at all, that is.

It's not a comment to your lj entry, I'm just saying hi :) I'm artemis10002000 from fanfiction.net, you sent me a very nice review reply to my review on "Out of Legends" which I wanted to reply to. Sending e-mails over ff.net's author's profile doesn't work for me, though. I'm gonna friend you, I hope you don't mind, and join the lj community you mentioned. I'm not very active on livejournal, though, I'm very lazy, so I mostly use it for rants and raves about my own stories (which I keep to myself since I don't want to spam people's friend pages and nobody would be able to make sense of it anyway. When I talk/write about writing, my mind's workings are as crazy as Harper's with the Collectors library in his head XD).

And of course you may use the "Niets without bone blades" phrase! *blushes* I feel really flattered that you like it so much.

Hi yourself! Welcome to my own ranting place. :))
Friend away! I like to be friended. And welcome to [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib.

It's a very good phrase, BTW. Your reviews have been inspiring all the time - it's such a joy to write for such responsive readers.

It means you are spending far too much time thinking about drywall!

Drywall (also known as sheetrock) is the stuff modern builders use to make the inner walls and ceilings of houses. My last few posts have been wailing about how the electircian was going to cut open Himring's ceiling, hence my comment.

Oh, I see. Forgot about that particular piece. My brain feels like a dry sponge. No independent thought possible. Hoping for Spring Holidays to come to myself again, but I suspect horrible things - Mum's getting creative about cleaning the frigging flat again. *cries*
