WRITER'S MEME: Sometimes it's ok to pimp yourself out. Post a list of the top five favorite fics you've written, regardless of fandom or the reason you love them. This isn't about the BEST things you've written, but what you LOVE most. Then tag five other people to do the same.

Crossroads
The prelude to my original Trek/Original Galactica series. I know it's in many ways not half as good as a lot of other things I've written since it has been finished more than 10 years ago. But it was my very first finished fanfic, and even though it bears the mark of translation, some people seem to like it.

Forgotten Song
My first ever fanfic written in English. My first Tolkienfic. The fic through which I fell in undying love with Boromir. The fic of which my private Ardaverse has grown.

Birthright 2: The Gathering
An Andromeda AU. In this, I've done perhaps the most cultural background stuff, the most research and the most world-building thing. I'm very satisfied with this one.

The Shoemaker's Daughter
The story that gave birth to Halabor and its people. Everything else came from this one.

The Equinox Logs
A side product to my mammooth Voyager AU series, featuring mostly secondary characters. Not a popular one, but I'm very fond of it.

It was frigging hard to choose only five favourites from the 90 stories posted to FF.Net alone. And I have at least half a dozen other ones elsewhere. But here you are.

I tag: [livejournal.com profile] altariel, [livejournal.com profile] eyeofacat, [livejournal.com profile] jilba, [livejournal.com profile] rcfinch and [livejournal.com profile] jen_rock. Bring in the goodies, friends!

Thanks for thinking of me! I'm not sure I'll get around to doing it, but I'll do my best.

Yeah, I imagine you won't have an easy choice, either, with all the excellent stuff you've written...

Good selections, but you are right - so many got left off the list!

Starting with "Innocence", eh? And what about "AnnĂºminas", the Evil Mpreg Story of Hades(TM)? I love that one, too.

The sad truth is, I don't really have any favourite stories. I love each and every one as if they were my children. In a sense, they are... my only offspring. And, even risking to sound immodest, I'm personally very content with them. Which is the reason why it makes me sad that so few people seem to share my satisfaction. :((

A bit self-absorbed, aren't I?

I only have nine stories up and I like them all so I don't think I can pick five favorites. But Truth and Consequences would be up there.

You find it hard to pick five out of nine? How hard, do you think, was it for me to pick five out of over 90? I do love them all, too! *g*

No, really, I simply picked them for their importance in my secret life as a writer. Based on love, I could have picked any single one of the others.

But you are right. "Truth and Consequences" is an excellent story. I'm already sad to know that you only plan one more chapter.
