Just a little background trivia, not to the original mythology but to the actual adventure series - the one that consisted of more than 1,000 pages.
Behold the Order of the Falcon
The Order of the Falcon was an institution in Trofayah that only existed when the royal family had a Chosen One among its sons. Chosen Ones were a rare thing during Trofayah's millennia-long history; only seven of them were ever born. Chosen Ones were such sons that inherited the inborn powers of their ancestors-from-before-the-kingdom, from the old, pagan times. The sign of being Chosen was a star-shaped spot in the middle of their foreheads. Once the prince in question has reached his full maturity, that star was capable of emanating white light, and it enabled the prince to perform powerful magic.
Unfortunately, Chosen Ones were always firstborn sons, and thus subject to the Law of Exile. The Law served to snip the kin-strife for the throne among the sons of the king in the bud. It said that on the very day when the king's youngest son reached his full maturity, all his older brothers had to go into exile, never to return. Taht way, Trofayah lost its most powerful princes several times, some of them turned evil and worked against their own people, out of bitterness and disappointment.
Another peculiar trait of the Chosen Ones were that they were all left-handed - nobody knows why. Some of them showed the typical signs of a shaman: born with teeth, born with six fingers or six toes, but not every one of them. Until they had to leave Trofayah, they usually served their father as valiant and talented warlords.
The Order of the Falcon

5. Orik the Brave, the weapons master of the Order; he later married Dathma the Fair, Idleb's sister.
6. Kira, son of Lord Eril the Fatherless; his younger brother, Shiro, took over the empty place of the traitor halfway in the tale.
7. Idleb the Gold-tressed, son of Lord Caleb of the Havens
8. Chebba the BowmanRed Huon, the minstrel of the Order
10.Sullam
