Well, if anyone, Walter certainly deserved that promotion. And I'm happy with Carson as the main character - I love that guy.
As for using canes and hearing aids... between my tinnitus and back problems, it probably wouldn't take 45 seasons of "Stargate: The Last Stand" to get there.

Well, actually, I have read on extremely well/written Carson/chair fic. I don't remember what it was but in case I've saved it to my HD, I'll send you the title and the author. It wasn't smutfic, of course, but a great one nevertheless.
I think the author might be Dr. Dredd, who writes great Carson genfic stuff. I'll try to look the story up for you.
I tried the Quiz again, this time with my pen name (someone apparently has a journal with that name), and you won't believe it: I actually got the Carson/Ancient Chair thingy! *g*
In that particular version, the show title is t he same, but the main character is Rodney, the main enemy is Ba'al, and the premise: "Members of the SGC sing their way across the universe in a toe tapping, all dancing variety show."
It's popularity will be 81%, but alas, it will only last one season. It seems, the world isn't mature enough yet for that show. *sighs*
