Somehow, I managed to gather my nonexistent energy and started working on the accidentally-created [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib archive. I've put up some of the main index pages to my sci-fi stuff. Tomorrow, I'll try to put up the rest and start moving there the actually existing stories.

It's not the same as finally doing some quality work on my actual website, but I can't manage that one without help, while I'm capable of putting up at least text to a LJ community. I could use a fellow maintainer who'd make the galleries for me, but until I find someone, it's still better than nothing. Plus, unlike my own website, a LJ community does allow comments. We'll see.

Edit: I began posting Mission to Daleth IV to [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib. It's slow and eye-killing work, due to all that hand-coding. I'll be glad when I come to posting my Atlantis stuff, which is already up on [livejournal.com profile] hiddenrealms, properly coded, so all I'll have to do is copy & paste everything. And link together the individual parts. And add them to the Memories. Okay, it won't be that easy, but a bit less tiring.

One has to count one's blessings, right?

Oh, and by the way, how long has LJ had that newly added menu bar on the top of the main page of each journal? Or was I just too stupid to spot it before?

They just added the menu bar. If you really hate it, there is supposedly a way to turn it off (but I don't remember how off the top of my head).

Thanks. I managed to turn it off everywhere but on [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib already, where I have to put up a great amount of stuff and it's quicker with the navigation bar. But I might turn it off later there, too. You need to go to the Customize Communities feature and uncheck both boxes concerning the nav bar, BTW.
