... although this batch is more like spread, TBH. I made it with half a package of jam-fix, so that we can spread it over the Topfenknödel tomorrow. Said Topfenknödel got postponed because having them after a sweet apple-and-raisin soup would have been too much sweetness in one meal. So we had sandwiches instead, and a bit of caramel ice cream to our coffee.
Aside from the B+B+Strawberryjam spread I only did little things today. Scrubbed the labels from two small jars (why on Earth do they glue the dratted things on so hard?), labelled the previous batch of jam, put away a few things that have been lying around for days... and lazed around basically all afternoon.
On the social side of things I had a nice phone chat with my friend Erna, the art teacher. She is such a delightful person, and after having known each other since 1995 we have quite a few shared interests. Too bad that she lives in one of the outlying villages, or else I'd pay her the one or other visit.
