It rained last night
Jul. 26th, 2025 07:40 pmJust enough for the balcony to fold. I found an inch of water in the plastic bin I keep under the leaky place. Fortunately, the strategically placed tinfoil and sponges directed the water straight into the bin. Speak of small mercies.
The rain didn't help with the temperatures. Now it's hot and stuffy. "Just" 32 degrees, but still hard to breathe.

In the morning I finally washed my hair again, wrote a little bit and even did a tiny bit of crafting, still working on the dollhouse quiet books. So the day wasn't a complete waste. I then talked on the phone with two friends and got a text message for a third one I tried to call but didn't reach. Social life is such a nice thing.
Tomorrow I'll dig out the sandwich maker. I specifically bought sliced toast bread yesterday, plus a bag of mixed salad. I foresee soup, sandwiches and salad for several upcoming lunches. And ice cream and coffee, of course.
