Long-promised pictures
Nov. 7th, 2023 08:43 pmSo, I've finally get around to add the thread samples to the mini sewing kits, which was really boring, but at least they are finished.
( Lots of picspam behind the cut )
Otherwise it was a blessfully quiet day. I continued with rearranging the "pantry" shelves; that is, I've emptied one shelf, put everything on the kitchen table and am now trying to work out a way they should get back to the shelf in a hopefully more efficient way. We'll see. All the stuff is still fine, save for the poppy seed that had gone musty, so I had to throw it out. Annoying, as it's so expensive, and you can't buy small amounts of it. I guess I'll have to put the new package into the freezer, as I do with all the various nuts. *sigh*
Mum had a visit from the physiotherapist lady, and I had choir practice. At which my (ex-)colleague, Erica, delivered a whole bag of empty toilet rolls, as promised. So I can make a lot more surprise boxes for the fair. Yay!
Eenie gave me a lift home and asked on the way, what kind of ingredients should she buy for me, in order to be one of the cookie box recipients for Christmas. I told her she'd have gotten cookies anyway, so there is no need, but she insisted. Well, I'll have to delegate things between her and Elise who also insists to contribute ingredients each year. A good thing that I'm already planning to make a lot of biscuits again!
