Sewing madly
Jun. 24th, 2023 05:35 pm... because tomorrow I'll be fairly busy, and the day after is cleaning frenzy, so I needed to make some progress. Which I did. All page bases are on the same level of completeness - meaning not at all. The more I do, the more details I realize need to be added, and July is
picowrimo time, when I'll make pitiful attempts to get some writing done. That leaves me less than a week from June (with lots of interruptions, like the dentist appointment) and August. That is very little time! I'm starting to panic earnestly!
In other news, we had a downpour last night - as foreseeable, the balcony yielded - which meant marginally more bearable temperatures in the morning. Right now we are back to 27°C inside the flat. I'm not leaving for the next couple of days, unless I absolutely have to!
Cherries showed up last week. I've managed to get very yummy ones at Auchan. I'm also toying with the idea of making some cherry stone pillows for the charity fair, if I can get enough of the things. One of my (ex-)colleagues promised to save them for me while making preserves - we'll see how many come together. I've got some fabric rests I need to get rid of, and for this task I might even try my luck with Louise the Younger (=baby sewing machine) again. That would be quite the time-saver!
