Another month is over
Mar. 31st, 2023 06:00 pm... and I really wonder where all the time has gone. If I didn't keep tab on what I do every day, with whom I speak and whom I meet, I'd be totally swamped over.
Today was the day of hunting down Zuckerschrift. The Auchan supermarket had them - and a great lot of everyday foodstuffs for a somewhat reduced price. So I've stocked up on yogurt and margarine and similar things; meaning that I won't have to get up at stupid o'clock on Monday to get the same things on offer at Aldi. Yay!
Still, since I'm no longer able to get up early, unless it's absolutely necessary, it cost me the whole morning. What was left of it was spent with decorating the already glazed biscuits and putting them into tin boxes for later distribution (and eating). Our brekkie was so late, due to my shopping tour, that we only had leftover soup for lunch, with a piece of bread each. Tomorrow I'll have to cook again, though. That, and it will be laundry day, too, and I might even be adventurous enough to bake the very last batch of biscuits. We'll see. *sigh*
Last night it was raining rather stubbornly, but all has dried up by late morning, so I took out Mum for another walk after lunch. She needs to build up her endurance again after the winter months when getting out was not an option.
Accordingly, my craft projects were put on the back burner for the day. It was either them or some writing, and since this is the last day of
picowrimo's March session, I opted for writing. It will be hard enough to keep it up at least semi-regularly on my own.
