Ugly but yummy

That's how my apple pie turned out today. Still better than the other way round, and since we'll be the only ones to see (and eat) it, I haven't got a problem with it.

Other than that, we had laundry day again, and I finished 4 more of the little felt snowmen and sorted out the tiny silver and gold star-shaped sequins, so that's good progress. I also printed out some of the original (TV) dialogue from Season 5 of Primeval, in the hope it might help the currently stuck Chapter 20 of "Timescapes" move forward. *fingers crossed*

It's fairly cold over here right now - around 16°C at daytime and around 6°C at night, and forecast says it will stay that way all week. Central heating won't start until October 15, and chances are they'll give us a lot less heat for the same price due to the energy crisis. Thank God the building insulation was done last summer, or else we'd freeze in winter, especially if these strong winds keep coming. I wonder where "normal" Septembers have gone - usually it's quite warm here in September, so warm that we can keep wearing summer clothes. *sigh*
