The older one gets, the shorter the days

No, really. I haven't done anything extraordinary today - in fact, I haven't done anything ordinary, either, save for taking care of Mum and a bit of cooking and writing - and yet the day is almost over. I only got up 20 or so minutes later than usual, honestly! So where has the whole day gone? It is unfair!

The highlight of the day was emptying the post box, where I found a lovely Christmas card from akane42me that took almost a month cruising across the ocean but in the end it did find its way to our house. That was a very nice surprise. :)
