The Caged Egg
Mar. 11th, 2021 05:35 pmNo, it isn't some odd recipe or the title of some obscure fanfic. It's actually a pattern for paper embroidery that I've finished today. I already made a version several years ago but wasn't very happy with the way it turned out, so now I tried the use of sequins for the sparkly effect. *g*
I couldn't find the original pattern on Pinterest, although I'm quite sure I had it from the stitching.cards website, but this was my first attempt:
And this is the second one:
Still far from perfect - for one thing I've made mistakes while pre-punching the holes already - but I like the colour pattern better. Of course, the picture itself isn't as blurred as the first one, so that's another advantage. ;)
Other than that I managed a bit of writing, Mum got the appointment for her next x-ray control and I ordered the private ambulance again. In other words: same old and blessfully uneventful.
