Early post is early
Jan. 6th, 2021 03:29 pmBecause I needed to type up the finished Chapter 14 of Timescapes (my Torchwood/Primeval x-over), I got online right in the morning today. And since I was already up and posting, I decided to put up Chapter 37 of Elvenhome as well, an old story which I started posting to AO3 in early December. Two more chapters to go, and then it's done in its entirety. Yay!
In-between typing and posting, I also made lunch: a dish of cauliflowers, tuna and cheese sauce, baked in the oven. It was very yummy. We still have a big platter of Christmas cookies, and we had leftover soup from yesterday, so it was a pleasant meal indeed.
Also, I took down the Advent calendar in my bedroom. Meaning these guys here:

The white wall appears so blank without the splash of colour 24 Christmas elves brought to it, but it was really overdue. As usual, we'll leave the Christmas tree up to February 2, which is the official end of Christmas time according to the Church. Since it's now an artificial monstrosity, needles won't be a problem, at least.
No social contacts today so far, but something in that area might still happen. It's early afternoon yet, after all.
Edit: Three hours, two phone chats and an e-mail later I think I can call it a day. :)
