I had a very busy day. First, I had to go to the post office ([livejournal.com profile] badly_knitted, [livejournal.com profile] the_wild_iris and [livejournal.com profile] meathiel can start watching their post boxes) and to the bank, as well as to the small craft shop next to the supermarket, where I got the most lovely, snowflake-patterned felt sheets, in different colours. Yay! It's unlikely that I'd do anything with them this year, but they'll keep.

Then I went to school to fetch my eggsies and met with quite a few of my friends. Monica, our conductor, gave me a lift home, so that I didn't have to lug all the shopping on the bus and on foot, respectively. Still, I felt just about every single aged bone in my body when I got home.

We had a belated lunch then (just leftover soup and some cookies from yesterday), after which I began to distribute my cookies into different tin boxes for my friends. Our balcony looks like the storeroom of a bakery, with all those boxes that have names on them, and the other, unlabelled ones, where the remaining cookies are.

Tomorrow will be baking day again. I promised Monica to make some more low-carb, sugar-free cookies for her hubby, and since I'm planning to bake some regular ones where I'll have leftover egg whites, the two things will fit together rather well. Or so I hope.

Chapter 8 of Elvenhome has been posted to AO3. Now to watch some more GBBO re-runs for baking inspiration! *g*

My Good Thing of the day:

Meeting the girls at school. It beats everything, each time.
