The day of distraction

Frankly, I didn't do much today. Watched my zoo reports on the telly, did some mediocre writing, cut out pieces for the Christmas cards I intend to make - and that was it, basically. I sacrificed late morning to finally tear up a huge cardboard box (the one our telly arrived in three years ago), with the help of a pocket knife and a pair of really big scissors (it was one tough piece of cardboard, let me tell you), and I was too tired for anything else afterwards.

It's a good thing that we had leftovers for lunch, right?

Later I talked a bit to my friend Eenie on the phone and cut out more pieces for the cards. My fingers hurt now, so tomorrow I'll do something else, I think. I have to cook anyway, and perhaps I'll bake some cheesy buns. It will be a hobbity day, it seems. *g*
