So, folks, I've managed to type up the first chapter of "A Stitch in Time", the sequel to "A Matter of Time". Right now, it's only posted to [livejournal.com profile] otherworlds_lib, as I didn't want to break the updates to "Magic Mirror" on AO3, but I thought I'd make it available to Torchwood and Star Trek - Enterprise fans, in the perhaps naive hope that someone would be actually interested.

Where has the time gone? School re-starts tomorrow, for the next week still without the kiddies, but the colleagues have to go to work. Not that there would be any actual work to do, just stupid meetings about everything and nothing, but the poor girls (and the two or three boys) will waste their mornings in there anyway.

I'm so glad that I've already retired I can hardly express it! But even for me, time is flying by. Mum's been just musing about how it seems to be weekend all the time, as the rest of the week is over in a moment, or so it seems.

I've done the heroic deed today, though, having typed up everything I've written for "A Stitch in Time" last week: both the finished first chapter and the half-done second one. I've also re-watched the early "Enterprise" episode "Fight or Flight", as its events will be feature in this story rather heavily. Having done a big batch of transcribing is always a relief.

Other than that, I was rather lazy, as Mum offered to cook today. We attended to Mess via television, and that was about our day. Not that either of us would complain. We like it slow and quiet. ;)
