Better late than... even later...

So, I finally sent off my card and package, respectively, to my dear friends lindahoyland and wanderingmogwai. Ladies, could you drop me a line when they arrive? Just so that I know they didn't get lost in the maze that is postal service. Thanks. That's one more thing off my to-do list. And a bit of peace for my guilty conscience.

I'm not doing the Christmas card thing this year. I've been in so much craft- and choir-related stress in the recent months that I haven't managed to make the planned Christmas cards. And I don't send ready-made ones. My apologies. It was just not doable this year.

As for Christmas baking, I've got four sorts of cookies done. Another two are planned, and that will be it. I didn't have the time and the energy for the BBO (=Big Baking Orgy) this year, either. I might bake an additional cake for Mum and myself for Christmas Eve, but that's where I draw the line.

I've got one more thing to make before school term runs out: a small gift for M, our choir leader. I'm planning a very simple album, covered in music-themed scrapbook paper, full of silly quotes like: "I lead. You follow. Any more questions?" I hope she'll like it. She is so underappreciated, the poor woman, she needs love!

After that, I'll sleep for a whole week before starting with the Russian dolls. That's the plan anyway.
