"Outtakes, Part 3" update

I've decided to post the final part of Outtakes 3 - Hell Hath No Fury to FF.Net. It's not yet beta read, but I wanted it out of my hair before school starts in earnest.

I'll post Outtakes 4 - Secrets of the Soul next week. Both parts will be replaced by the beta-ed version as soon as possible, but I thought perhaps people want to know the solution, just in case work eats me alive.

I'd say "Enjoy!", as usual, but I think this time "Hanky alert!" would be the better thing to say.

Short cuts

So, am I the only one who can't do short cuts on LJ anymore?

Until now, I hand-coded the urk I wanted to link like this:
Part 3, and only Part 3 appeared in the text in bold font and as a clickable link. Now it no longer happens. If I try the insert url button on the menu bar, the results are the same.

Anyone knows how to do short cuts now?

Edit: All right, elmey, The Wise has solved the problem: My posting box was indeed switched to visual editor. I switched it back, and things are working fine now. Thanks, elmey, I owe you one!

Old favourites

Now that my satellite receiver died on me - again - I decided to re-watch some old favourites. Today, it was "Time's Orphan" of DS9. The story in which Molly O'Brien falls through an anomaly ( really what would ST possibly do without unexpected anomalies?) and comes back as an adult who's grown up in the past alone. It is a fairly simple story, and I remembered the ending, of course, but I still feel ridiculously anxious every time - as if there would be a chance that tis time the O'Briens might not get their little girl back.
