Blasted Yahell!
Sep. 3rd, 2013 06:54 pmI'm. So. Angry. With their stupid changes! Yahoo Groups was the best place to store stuff you needed - once before LJ and all the other forums it was also the place of great discussions. Now it's completely useless.
Someone over at Axe & Bow says that they most likely want to get rid of all fangroups, and I'm afraid it's a distinct possibility. They got rid of Geocities as well, "generously" offering everyone to get themselves one of their paid websites. I have the feeling that something similar will happen with Yahoo Groups, too. They'll shut down your group, unless you're willing to pay them big bucks.
Which is their right, I guess, but the decent thing to do would have been to give proper warning well in advance, so that people could save the stuff they want to keep.
