Survived the annual school trip - it was awful, more than usual, as it had rained, too. I hate school trips. *shudders*

Manged five out of twelve pages of Slave Labour. Brain imploded as a result.

Haven't written a single word for days. Start feeling first signs of deprivation. Lindir is still on the treetop and wants his butterflies. I can't give him them, not now. I hope he forgives.

Have finished The Tombs of Atuan. Bus rides are a good thing for culture. Will start The Farthest Shore tomorrow, perhaps. If higher brain functions return.

Journey entry sounds like "The Very Secret Diaries". Time to shut up and go to bed.

*groans* Gemma, you shouldn't send more plotbunnies on my way! I can hardly feed the ones running around the house as it is! The picture you suggested is absolutely irresistible - you are aware of the fact that I'll have to write that vignette now, too?

As for The Tombs of Atuan, I completely agree. I took a quick peek at her essay on the end of the sixth volume and was saddened a little when I realized that she actually created a society - or make that societies - where women are second-hand citizens again.
