... arrived with snow. Lots of it. I can look out at a beautiful white landscape from my window. The best part is: I won't have to go out into it for at least another two days.

Not much happened today. I was so exhausted from wrestling with the flood from above in the previous night that I was basically sleeping most of the day. Three independent naps during one day! That's a new record, at least for times when I'm not actually ill!

As I cooked for two days in advance yesterday, no slave labour was required today. I worked a tiny bit on my dollhouse quiet book - just two tiny motifs, but it's still better than nothing, right? In the rest of the hours actually spent awake we watched the GBBO, The Great Australian Bake-Off and The Incredible Doctor Pol.

And now I feel like sleeping again...

Still no snow here, though we are forecast some.
It's nice as long as you don't have to go out in it.

Do you mean the snow or the multiple chances to sleep? *g*

Last night I dreamt that I woke up to a world covered in snow. Which is crazy, because not only are we in summer here, but to my knowledge it has never snowed here. A few kilometres away, in the mountains (hills really), but not here. Maybe I was dreaming of your snow?
Hope the flooding stopped situation gets resolved soon!

It's more a mental exhaustion than anything else.

Thank goodness you got to catch up on some sleep. I can thoroughly recommend finding sewing projects to prevent you from doing nothing.

Catch up on sleep, as long as you are able to! Soon the flat might drone with the sound of desiccators!

Nah, it isn't actually that wet, thank God.
