Okay, I've finally figured out how this "accept the rules" thingie works. It seems that whenever you agree to the rules, it has a validation for 3 days. After that, whenever you want to post a new story, you need to agree to the rules every frigging time.

This is really beyond ridiculous.

And yet, FF.Net is still the place where one can gain the occasional new reader. "Still Not in Kansas" got discovered yesterday by someone I've never heard of before. She reviewed 15 of the 21 chapters. :))

It came at the best moment, honestly. I was just about losing my faith in the usefulness of updating. Why is it that people who assumedly like one's stories never review, or the most they can produce is "Nice to see you're still working on this", while nitpickers always seem have the time to, well, to nitpick.

Man, but it's hot over here. Summer is in full blow... and tomorrow the big house cleaning of Hell is on the menu.

Well good for you that you have a new reader, and one who reviews, wow how nice.

Sounds like the rules are, as you said, beyond ridiculous, I can't wait until I have something new to post :(( Just to update you, In case you haven't received the email yet, all of Birthright 3 is posted over at fosff.net as of today.

House cleaning of Hell.....you have my sympathies, dear.

Thanks. We survived it, but it was hard. Ever since Mum was attacked and can't use her right arm like she did, she keeps thinking out new and exciting ways to lick this frigging apartment and spit-polish it.

Yesterday, we not only had the wall-to-wall carpets cleaned in every room, we also washed the rugs (all of them) and the curtains (all of them). I begin to hate my own home. *sighs*
