I took my spiced oils to school in the morning because weather forecast promised rain for the early afternoon. It turned out a lucky decision, as our art teacher is ill and wouldn't be at school in the afternoon. But this way I could place my wares with the rest and be done. Everything else needs cold storageing and can only be taken in on the day of the fair.

We had leftover soup and salad and I bought a Zwiebelkuechle on my way home, so no cooking was necessary. Instead, I took a nice, long nap - one that lasted an hour and a half and I was still half-asleep from for another thirty minutes afterwards. *g* We then had lunch, watched some telly, I called our art teacher to see what ails her, and prepared things for tomorrow's baking session.

That included climbing a ladder (albeit a short one) to get my cookie cutter collection off the pantry shelf - well, the Christmas half of it. I really need to count how many of the things I have one day and perhaps dispose of the ones I basically never use. But I have an inordinate fondness for cookie cutters. ;)

So, that was my day, with a tiny bit of writing squeezed in before my nap. I'm content with it.

Same here... and I still keep finding ones I just can't resist! *insert rueful expression*

I love Zwiebelkuechen so much! Alas onions cannot be happily digested.
I’m sure the spiced oils will be a smash hit. I would grab them as soon as i saw them.

Unfortunately, you can never predict what is going to sell well at any particular fair. I'm trying to come up with new things beside old favourites.

Yes, we need the count of cookie cutters! Below or above 30?

Way above 30 — I think the Christmas themed alone are above that. And then I have the Easter-themed ones and the general ones, too... I might spread them all over the kitchen table and take a photo one day. šŸ™ƒ

Cookie cutters look like fun to use. I saw an interesting idea of turning gingerbread men into reindeer heads the other day. They looked quite effective...as well as comical.

But I do have reindeer — one large and one small!

My cookie cutter collection consists of four or five stars in different sizes, all looking as have been overrun, some twisted circles and a moon.

You and me both — as we know from previous conversations! But I haven't even got my Christmas ones out yet... maybe tomorrow.
