A bit crafty today

wiseheart34 degrees today. Not the slightest breeze outside. A literal sauna in the inside. Gah, I hate it!
At least the morning was tolerable, so I put those few hours to good use and finished my pencil holders, both the penguin one and the Santa one. They turned out very cute, if I say so myself. There'll be pictures tomorrow, assuming the light is gonna be right.
We didn't manage much else today, save for taking the dried washing down. We ate leftover pilaw, watched a bit of telly and, for the rest of the day, we simply tried to survive. I slept an hour and a half in the afternoon and woke up completely groggy. My joints hate this weather; I'm still like a board.
At least I reached H. via phone. She's suffering from the heat, too, even though she lives in a stone house that's somewhat cooler than our concrete monstrosity. But she has a weak heart and the grandchildren nearly every time, now that school holidays have started. I wouldn't switch situations with her for sure.
