Not much, mind you, just a few meagre paragraphs, but considering that I hadn't written a word since the end of the most recent [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo session, even this counts as great progress. I hope that now, after the crafting and baking frenzy has ended, I can return to my writing in earnest. Starting next Wednesday, I'd say, because that's going to be the first relatively quiet day again - assuming that we survive the cleaning on Tuesday.

Otherwise, it was a quiet day. I made that improvised tomato soup, solved some crossword puzzles, took Mum out for a short walk and watched YouTube videos on my iPad. I prefer watching them on the big screen of my desktop PC, but the iPad allows me to do it lying down, which my feet prefer, so yeah. I also took two naps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, so I feel almost well rested, considering that it was laundry day.

And now I'll take heroic efforts to type up some of the stuff I wrote during [livejournal.com profile] picowrimo... and today.

So glad to hear you've been writing again — that's wonderful news! I hope it brings you joy, on top of the joy it brings your readers.

Thank you. If I still have any readers is another question, of course, but let's try being optimistic.

People writing stuff for us to read is a good thing I'd say!

A few paragraphs is definitely better than my output since we did pico — this is it in its entirety:

Rumil sat calmly, watching his wife. He let the conversation drift over him; Tindómë would tell him about this first Key and her relationship with Glorfindel later, when they were alone.
