wiseheart | Today was restful

... even though not entirely eventful. But I didn't have to do any housework, and all the other things were pleasant.

I've actually finished all the egg baskets, including their handles. So, tomorrow there'll be painting all 21 of them. *shudders* Still, it has to be, so that they can dry and be filled during the weekend. I want them packed and ready to be delivered for Tuesday, because next week promises to be hectic.

We had the Tunfischauflauf I made yesterday for lunch. Well, half of it. I don't want to cook tomorrow, as tomorrow will be grocery shopping day. Then I watched some YouTube videos and solved a bunch of crossword puzzles. We took out the rubbish, checked our mail (the snail mail kind), and I delivered the cookies to the neighbours.

My friend Eenie came mid-afternoon to fetch her cookies. We had a nice time together; even called our conductor, who's still down with some sort of stomach bug, and had a three-way phone call. She stayed till half past six - it was fun. After she'd left, we had supper and watched some telly, and now the day is almost over again.

As I said, the day was eventful but still very pleasant. I'd really need more days like this.
