It was a somewhat disjointed day. I've finished icing the rubbery carrot cakes - they look somewhat better now, but I doubt they'd taste better. As I said, I'll tell my recipients to use it as chewing gum.

No cooking was necessary, so I rested a bit both in the morning and in the early afternoon. The physiotherapist lady didn't come today, so we were being lazy. Later on, I went to the school to fetch my already dried styrofoam eggs, as well as for choir practice. Alas, most of the time we were practicing a piece that I loathe, so that wasn't the funit usually is.

I also ordered some real eggs, which arrived today. Unfortunately, I only found the note after coming home, so the poor eggsies are still at school, waiting for me. Thankfully, my friend Evie promised to deliver them tomorrow after school, so they won't remain there until the chickens hatch. I'd have hated to go there tomorrow again.

Tomorrow I'll have to cook - Pasta Bolognese is on the menu, with a mixed salad - and I want to make some more egg baskets. I pilfered some empty toilet rolls from the paper bin to have something to work with. The choir mate who had promised me a bag of rolls didn't come to practice today, and I still need 18 more baskets!

So, that was basically it today. The continuing lack of sleep is catching up with me, so I decided to be very lazy tomorrow.

Would be nice, yeah. It didn't turn out as expected, though.

I would — had it turned out as lazy as planned. It didn't.

A rather annoying romantic piece by Liszt. To add insult to injury, the words are so idiotic that my eyes start bleeding when I look at them.
