Rag doll "Lolek"

He still doesn't have his cap, as I haven't managed to wrap my tired old brain around the intimidatingly complicated process of making one, but I thought I'd post a pic, just so that you all can decide whether he resembles a monkey or not. *g*

Here we go:



He is a funny little guy with lots of beginner's mistakes in the making (notice the weird-looking chin and the disproportioned head and limbs) but considering that I've never used this pattern before, I find the results acceptable. Mum loves him to pieces, but Mum is biased, of course.

Otherwise it was a mundane day, full of household activities: laundry day, cooking (I did the peeling and chopping, Mum did the actual cooking) and so on. We took naps, watched "Salvage Hunters", I talked to two different friends on the phone, and that was it. Tomorrow it will be outside errands again, but for now I'm glad I can be inside the house.
