We had a visit from the talkative chiropodist lady. It drained us both completely, so we had to take extensive naps in the afternoon. There went a lot of time that could have been put to good use - but not without any functioning brain cells.

In the rest of the day I cooked lunch, finished the trousers of the rag doll and started knitting a scarf for him, in the hope that it might help fixing his wobbly head a bit. And that was basically it. *sigh*

Gotta take the time to rest and recover! This women sounds exhausting even just hearing about her, you earned that nap

We both just dropped in the afternoon. *sigh*

She isn't a bad one, actually, just very tiring. Mum and I were discussing the possibility of her breathing through her ears, so that she could talk more.

Yep. Wobbly head syndrome is always an issue with rag dolls. Sadly, when making dolls for young children there's no safe way to deal with it. A scarf or high collar sounds like a good solution.

The fixing will only help if you stitch the scarf down...

That is the plan, yes.

Good luck with the wobbly head on the doll. The podiatrist would have left me breathless.
