... for the time being. (Ex-)colleague Kate promised to drop by and take a look at the state of things, especially those that might block my access to the dratted customer's gateway. It might not be entirely my fault, as the physiotherapist lady apparently has the same problems, and she's way more technically savvy than I am. We'll see.

The crafting is going well enough. I've finished the T-shirt and started putting together the trousers, which required another round of cross-grain seaming, which is tedious and boring, so I'm glad it's done. I'll try to solve the neck problem tomorrow, by adding another piece of felt, so that the neck will be longer and the oversized head look less disproportional. Once that's done, I can attack the feet/boots, which promises to be another complicated task. If I ever make another rag doll (after these two) I'll make a better pattern first.

I did also some cooking today: made an absolutely delicious tomato soup and spanakopita for dummies, meaning that I used ricotta instead of Feta cheese. Not on principle, just because I had a jar of ricotta in the freezer, which I had bought at Aldi for a reduced price, and Feta is insanely expensive, considering that it mostly tastes of salt. So I generously (too generously, alas) salted the otherwise bland ricotta, refined the spinach with some cooking cream, added pine nuts to the filling and rolled the whole thing into ready-made puff pastry. With lots of sesame seed on top, it turned out excellent.

This makes no cooking tomorrow, perhaps not even the day after, so I can continue my decluttering campaign. Considering the number of shelves and drawers that need to be sorted out, I have to work on that rather diligently.

Damn technology!

After making 2 ragdolls you can probably make a third one in your sleep. 😄

The sad truth is, these two will probably look as if I had made them in my sleep.

Spanakopita sounds good.
Feta is insanely expensive, considering that it mostly tastes of salt.

In my experience, patterns get refined with each use. I have 'alter that blouse pattern shoulder width' on my list of things to do. The cooking experiment sounds delicious. Great work on the declutter. I remember finding lots of things I forgot I owned, and some I knew I owned but had been unable to find for ages.

Once I've ridden myself of half my library I intend to put all these small things in cardboard boxes and label them, then place them into the book cabinet, with the labels in front. That might bring some system into the chaos that is my study/workroom. Of course, I'll have to get rid of all those books first.

Spanakopita is one of my favourites. With feta, of course, because here feta is cheaper than ricotta!

Over here they are both expensive. But I bought ricotta on a weekly sale, back in October or so and froze it. Now I took it out because the freezer is full, too, and used it up. Win-win.

I have every sympathy with your battle to open the gateway!

In theory I should be able to access the 'patient portal' for our health service so that I could make appointments, request prescriptions, check results... really useful stuff.

But I have never managed to actually register for it as I get about half way and then there is a point where no matter which option I take it returns me to the previous page.
