Square one mastered - on to square two... eventually

All right, one problem off my list: the new client gateway is established, the screen lock installed (I already hate it), we'll se if I'll be able to use the shiny new thing at all when the time comes. *fingers crossed*

Today I worked on the rag doll's T-shirt, which I'm making from an actual T-shirt of mine: a very nice, lilac fabric, but also very soft and hard to work with. But I won't be discouraged. That T-shirt will be finished tomorrow, even if it kills me (which is a distinct possibility).

We also had choir practice today, which was considerably less satisfactory than usual. Our choir leader only arrived around the end (her hubby is hospitalized), and her deputy was leading the practice instead. Said deputy is a skilled conductor, too, and devoted to her work, but we're used to M, who's led us for the last twenty years and it isn't easy for us to work with someone else. Still, she did her best and so did we.

The physiotherapist lady asked to postpone the appointment for tomorrow. That's okay with me, I prefer it when her session with Mum isn't on the same day as choir practice (it usually is). At least this way we could have or customary late lunch before I would leave for the practice.

Soft fabrics, particularly knitted ones, can be hard to wrangle, that's for sure. I wouldn't tackle them at all when I was using a machine. They're slightly easier with hand sewing.
